I prefer Ook? Video Ook! over VideoDownloader since I had trouble with the latter & its an extension that tries to sell a converter package to handle the FLV file without posting alternate methods of viewing/converting it.
For those with USB Flash Drives these apps are great http://portableapps.com/ Currently Gimp portable, Open Office Portable, VLC Portable, Firfox2 portable, Sudoku Portable, and 7zip protable are housed in my Flashdrive. |

kung gusto nyo ng free anti virus, try nyo rin yun avast... madalas yun update nya... you just have to register [free] in their website for a 1 year license...
pag nagexpire register lang ulit kayo [free]... so far so good naman sya sa pc ko... |

Add ko lang ang GhostWall, isa siyang freeware firewall, napakaliit ang memory consumption [852 K according to Task Manager], at basta alam mo kung anong mga port/IP ang iba-block or ipapa-allow, VERY effective siya.
As for torrents, I recommend either Azureus (if your PC has good specs) or µTorrent (if your PC has low specs or if you're more PC resource-conscious than some people). Azureus provides better control over download speeds, while µTorrent has a very small memory consumption, excellent in a Windows environment. Favorite download managers would be Free Download Manager and DownloadThemAll!. FDM is a free open source download manager, while DTA is a Firefox plugin (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |
